This event is in the past.
We hope you all had incredible summers and are ready to reconnect with one another. Our 1st meeting will be hosted by The Lovett School, Atlanta, GA, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Due to parking restrictions, we are modifying the format for the day.
- We will be meeting in the Rogers/Westmoreland Activity Center most of the day. Therefore, we encourage you to take the optional 10:00 tour if you'd like to see Lovett's maker spaces, including the new 1800 square foot space launched last year. Please arrive by 9:45.
- "Speed Innovation" will replace breakout sessions. Each participant will have an opportunity to visit an area with a presenter giving a 10-15 minute spiel of something innovative they are doing. See the agenda (https://goo.gl/B3iWZm) for more details.
Our keynote speaker will be Annie Eaton, Co-Founder and CEO of Futurus, LLC, where "she creates immersive, engaging and interactive experiences in virtual reality, augmented reality and 360 capture." Her talk will focus on trends in the industry, as well as applications and use cases in industry, focusing on educational applications.
In the meantime, please take a moment to renew your membership, which can also be done when you RSVP for Tuesday's meeting. Dues are $30 per individual per year. This fee includes lunches, keynote speakers, door prizes, ISTE affiliation, and of course, all emails, webinars, and event opportunities for the year.
If you are interested in hosting a meeting for the year, please email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
